Our Facility

    The campus of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas is approximately 1.5 acres and is located on Highway 5 South in Norfork, Arkansas. The building was the former Norfork High School and was built circa 1950's.

    The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas is currently exploring opportunities for the growth of our organization. Over the course of 2012 we anticipate the demands on our warehouse to exceed its capacity.

Understanding Our Need:

1.        Our current warehousing space is approximately 5,000 square feet.

2.        During 2011 the agencies we serve increased by 12 new agencies.

3.        We project that number to increase by at least 7 new agencies in 2012.

4.        During 2011 we distributed over 1.6 million pounds of food.

5.        We understand the capacity of our current building to be approximately 2 million pounds of food distributed annually.

6.        We believe that we will reach capacity by the end of 2012.

7.        We currently serve as a distribution warehouse for 60 agencies across nine counties in north central Arkansas.
