Norfork Community Care Program

NORFORK COMMUNITY CARE PROGRAM

The Norfork Community Care Program began in 1982 to meet the immediate need after thousands were displaced from a devastating flood. The program's food pantry, thrift store, and Heirloom Seed Shop are all located on the campus of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas.

FOOD PANTRY

SERVING OUR COMMUNITY IN NEED

The Norfork Community Care Program Food Pantry is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Food Pantry is located in Norfork, Arkansas just across from the Norfork Cafe on Highway 5 South. If you will be visiting the Food Pantry for the first time it is located at the back of the same building as the Norfork Community Care Program Thrift Store. Individuals are asked to bring their drivers license, state issued ID or a current utility bill for proof of address.

THRIFT STORE

GIVING BACK TO HELP OTHERS

The Norfork Community Care Program Thrift Store is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 am until 2 pm. The Thrift Store's mission is to help people reuse and re-purpose gently used items at an affordable price. Proceeds benefit the Norfork Community Care Program Food Pantry.

HEIRLOOM SEED SHOP

PROMOTING SELF-RELIANCE THROUGH GARDENING

The Heirloom Seed Shop is a program of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas created to promote self-reliance through gardening and food preservation. Visit the Food Bank’s non-hybrid seed outlet located inside the Norfork Community Care Program Thrift Store.
